This branch 21 life insurance policy is a savings plan with a fixed term of 8 years and 1 month. It offers a guaranteed interest rate. This interest rate applies when you pay the premium and may change for future premiums.
With Uppie Moon, you may receive a profit-sharing bonus each year. There are no guarantees that you will do so and the bonus may change each year.
It will depend on AG's profits and the general economic picture. Any profit-sharing bonus will be added to your saved amount (reserve) and will help increase your final capital amount. AG is not legally or contractually obliged to pay out a profit-sharing bonus.

Risks
Uppie Star Fly - Uppie Star Run - Uppie Star Go
- Market risk (or risk that the investment value will fluctuate): underlying assets rise and fall and the markets fluctuate constantly upwards and downwards (volatility principle). There are no guarantees with regard to the capital or the return, and no profit-sharing bonus is paid out by the insurance company.
- Liquidity risk: in some exceptional circumstances (as set out in the fund management regulations), AG may postpone or suspend liquidating the fund's units (i.e your opportunity to redeem the money you have invested). This means you will have to wait for a while before redeeming all or some of your money.
- Risks associated with managing funds: the fund in which you invest is managed by one or more experienced managers. Despite this expertise, there is always a risk that the investments made do not deliver the desired results.
- Risk of the insurer going bankrupt: assets in the life insurance policy funds are managed separately from the insurer's other assets. Should the insurer go bankrupt, these assets are set aside as a priority to pay the policyholders and/or their beneficiaries contributing to the fund.
On the basis of these different risks, you may not recover all of the capital you invest.
Uppie Moon
The guarantee fund will protect this life insurance policy, based on the protection mechanism that applies to branch 21. This mechanism is activated if AG should default, and it currently stands at a maximum of €100,000 per policyholder and per insurance company. For larger amounts, you accept the risk that you may lose some or all of the remaining amount.
Uppie Moon offers a guaranteed interest rate and a potential profit-sharing bonus. If this bonus is low or zero, the capital paid may be lower than the total amount invested, due to taxes, fees and interest rates.
