Category manager

As a Category Manager, you are in charge of procurement activities of Keytrade. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Implement the procurement roadmap in close collaboration with the business and the Procurement team 
• Develop and implement category sourcing activities to lower overall Total Cost of Ownership for Professional services, Marketing, Operations services, Facility Management
• He/She develops and negotiates frameworks agreements to reduce risk, supporting local teams in project specific needs relevant to categories
• Interacting with suppliers and negotiating the most favorable agreements including SLA
• Leading the RFx processes for dedicated categories
• Leading the contract negotiations with the business and vendors
• Maintaining a strong contract management
• Monitoring the suppliers’ performance together with the business
• Reporting to the Head of Procurement
• no people management

Education and experience:

• Master's degree (Procurement, Finance, Economics, or similar major)
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in procurement roles

Soft and hard skills:

• Experienced in Marketing, Professional services and IT commodities
• Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking
• Good knowledge of risk management
• Contract reviewing
• Comfortable with Excel
• Action driven
• Strong collaboration skills and leadership required
• Native FR or NL with full professional proficiency in the other language
• Professional working proficiency EN
