Thierry Ternier
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Thierry Ternier is Chair of the Executive Committee and a Member of the Board of Directors of Arkéa Direct Bank.
Born in 1965 in Furnes, he holds a degree in commercial engineering from Ghent University and a master's degree in accountancy from Vlekho Business School in Brussels. He began his career as a portfolio manager for Unilever. In 1991, he joined the insurance company Groupe JOSI as an asset liability manager and investment manager. In 1993, he became CFO and member of the Executive Committee of RealBank (formerly Banque Commerciale de Bruxelles). Since Keytrade Bank merged with RealBank in 2002, Thierry Ternier has been Chair of the Executive Committee of Keytrade Bank and CEO.
Marie-Ange Marx
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Marie-Ange Marx is a member of the Executive Committee, in charge of operational activities at Keytrade Bank.
Born in 1969 in Maastricht, she studied in Belgium, earning a law degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). She furthered her knowledge by gaining a master's degree in European Community Law (LLM) at the College of Europe in Bruges.
Marie-Ange Marx began her career as a lawyer at De Backer & Associés and became a member of the Brussels Bar. In 1999, she joined Keytrade Bank to oversee the development and management of Keytrade Luxembourg S.A. She returned to the parent company in 2003 in the role of Compliance Officer, until she was appointed COO in January 2007.
Vincent Questiaux
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Vincent Questiaux is a member of the Executive Committee and in charge of the IT platform of Keytrade Bank.
Born in 1974 in Nivelles, he gained a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL).
Vincent Questiaux began his career at Accenture and later became senior Product Manager at SWIFT. He then held the post of Chief Operating Officer at Gambit Financial Solutions before joining Keytrade Bank in 2014.
Katrien Berghs
HR Director
Katrien Berghs is HR Director and member of the Executive Committee of Keytrade Bank.
Born in Genk in 1974, Katrien Berghs graduated with a law degree from the KU Leuven. She then obtained a master's degree in Social Law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
Katrien Berghs started her career in 1999 as an assistant at the Institute for Employment Law at KU Leuven and as a lawyer at Linklaters at the Brussels Bar. Since 2006, Katrien has been active in various HR management positions at Delhaize Group, Loyens & Loeff Advocaten and Adecco Group. In 2019 she started working at Keytrade Bank.
Maria-Cristina Melan
Head of Transformation and Testing
Maria-Cristina is a member of the Executive Committee of Keytrade Bank.
Born in 1980 in Brussels, she obtained a master’s degree in economics with distinction from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL).
Maria-Cristina has worked in consultancy for twelve years, including seven years at KPMG Belgium. Throughout her career, she has worked in changing environments, from IT transformation to organisational and process review. With over fifteen years’ experience, primarily in the financial services industry, Maria-Cristina has gained extensive experience of working in changing environments.
Morgan Libert
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Morgan Libert is a member of the Executive Committee and responsible for Marketing and Communication at Keytrade Bank.
Born in Mons in 1985, Morgan Libert is a graduate from the Warocqué Faculty at the University of Mons, holding a Master's degree in Management Engineering .
The first years of his career, he spent at BNP Paribas Fortis first as an International Associate, then as Sponsoring Manager and finally as Head of e-media.
Eight years later, he joined the Executive Committee of Havas Media as Digital Director, where he later became Chief Transformation Officer. Afterwards he returned to the banking sector, first at ING (Marketing) and then at Belfius (Digital Sales).
At the beginning of 2022, he joined Keytrade Bank. On top of that he is a lecturer in Marketing at the University of Mons since 2018.
Filip Van den Put
Chief Data Officer
Filip Van den Put is a member of the Executive Committee and in charge of data & AI at Keytrade Bank.
Born in 1977, and originally from Retie, he gained degrees in Strategic Management and Human Resources at Thomas More and Vlekho. Initiating his career at Ahold Delhaize in 2001, Filip navigated through diverse roles, from HR management and change programs to data-centric positions. In 2023, Filip joined Keytrade Bank armed with profound expertise in data governance, BI, data analytics, data science, and AI.
Ludovic Roets
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Ludovic Roets is a member of the Executive Committee of Keytrade Bank and responsible for all financial matters and purchasing.
Born in Mons in 1985, Ludovic Roets graduated with a Master's degree in Management Sciences from the Catholic University Faculty of Mons after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Management IT at the Haute Ecole Louvain en Hainaut.
He began his career at Keytrade Bank in 2009 by joining the balance sheet management team. He then held several positions in financial departments such as Risk, Permanent Control and Finance.
