Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer

Keytrade Bank is a young, innovative online bank and we are looking for a new Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer.

Working in a small bank is very different to working in a large organisation. Responsibilities are greater, knowledge broader and agility is key. We have a very high growth rate and we are looking for motivated people willing to become part of our dynamic team to help improve and transform our existing trading and banking system.

You will work in our main office in Brussels as a member of our infrastructure team. 

We are currently exploring the world of Azure and you will be part of this.

The technical environment related to this function covers the following Microsoft products: Exchange, Active Directory and related services (GPO, DNS, DHCP, NPS, ADFS …), Clustering,  Dynamics CRM, ... 

Details of the position 

Member of the Microsoft team are concerned with all Microsoft related projects (except MS SQL databases).

You will:

Help define, implement and maintain highly available, performant & scalable Microsoft datacentre related components in order to effectively apply IT Business requirements 

Be involved in deployment and patching automation. 

Maintain and upgrade Active Directory, Exchange etc.

Take an active role in IT Operations (1 day per week). 

Help automate, monitor, deploy and patch 3rd party software such as Contact Management, Testing automation etc.

Troubleshoot performance and functional problems.

Promote best practices.

Technical skills 

Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies Object, Dynamic Host Protocol Configuration, Domain Name System, Network Policy Server 

Microsoft Exchange 

Microsoft Cluster Service 

Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 

Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) & vulnerability management software (i.e. Nexpose) 

Windows Server-based schedulers 

PowerShell scripting language development 

Public key infrastructure (Microsoft Certificate Authority Service)

Strong affinity with server & client security 

Automation of deployment with tools like Ansible and Terraform

Being able to understand why a machine is under stress (CPU, IOPS, RAM), propose solutions & make recommendations 

HP & Supermicro Servers knowledge (hardware platforms, iLO’s,

Soft Skills 

Good communication skills enabling you to explain complex technical issues is an easy to understand way.

Like to keep up to date with the latest technology trends; 

Fluent English and good knowledge of either French or Dutch.

Advanced investigation & problem solving skills with strong analytical skills; 

Availability & flexibility

Interested in cloud technologies and what the future may bring.

Have a clean certificate of good behaviour

B-driving license. 

Assets 

Knowledge of VMWare vCenter and ESXi

Backup software (Commvault)

Basic networking skills

Basic Linux administration knowledge

Basic knowledge of Go programming language.

Knowledge of Azure technologies such as Azure Entra ID / AI services)

Automation experience with Powershell, Ansible etc.

Basic F5 experience.
